If you’ve been following what’s going on in Aleppo, you know the people are in dire need of some help. It’s difficult to hear about tragedy and not know what to do, but we’re here to give you a few options.
Places to donate to aid the people of Aleppo
British Red Cross “Over five years of conflict have brought the people of Syria to their knees. Right now the Red Cross and Red Crescent are delivering essential food and medicine to people in desperate need across the country.
The White Helmets are a “volunteer civil defence non-governmental organisation which works to rescue people from the rubble of destroyed buildings.” The money you donate will go towards the folks injured in the process of rescue, and the families of those who were killed.
International Rescue Committee “responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.” “The IRC is helping those who arrived over the past week in eastern Idlib by giving 500 of the most vulnerable families $100 so they can purchase food, blankets and other essential items. We need more funding to reach all 800 of the newly arrived families and to help any future arrivals.”
Please consider giving anything you can to this cause, they are on their last threads and need whatever help they can get.
